The Pirate Battalion participated in the
Area 4 Drill Meet this past weekend in Winter Springs.
They captured the
2nd Place Female Overall Trophy,
the Male Team earned 3rd Place Overall
as well as the following awards:

Bright Future Scholarship
In 1997, the Florida Legislature created the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program. This Florida Lottery-funded scholarship rewards students for their academic achievements during high school by providing funding for them to pursue postsecondary educational and career goals in Florida.

First State Champions
State Drill Meet Album Now Available
Braden River JROTC scored its first
State Championship when the
Male Squad Exhibition Team
brought home the 1st Place Trophy from
the State Drill Meet on March 8th.
The members of the
State Champion Male Squad Exhibiton Team are:

Cadet Blankenship, Cadet Carter, Cadet Cournan,
Cadet Duncan, Cadet C. Mida, Cadet Sherman
