Army ROTC Scholardships
The U.S. Army Cadet Command
will only conduct three boards for scholarships.
The board dates are:

Early Board - October 11th - 15th
Main Board - January 4th - 8th
Late Board - March 1st - 5th

**** The personal statement is a critical portion of you scholarship application.
Write you statement first in Microsoft Word using the grammer and spelling check
feature, have LTC Bradin look it over for you, and then have your english
teacher proof if before you post it to the online application.

Completing the application process does not mean you have to accept
a scholarship if one is offerred to you.

- Get your application in time to make all three boards for the best chance on getting a scholarship.

- Only list schools on the application that you know you can get into.

- The deadline for application is January 10th..

- The physical is scheduled after you are offered the scholarship.

Last years stats :
15,000 started the application
8,000 completed the application
3800 received a scholarship.
That is almost a 50% scholarship rate.
Which means your chances are very good!

College Fair Night
Manatee County will hold their annual
College Fair Night on Monday, October 25th.
It will be held at the Manatee Countty Convention Center.
This is a great opportunity for high school student,
even as early as in their Freshmen year, to get information
and literature about colleges that they may be interested in attending. It is NEVER too early to gain the knowledge
needed to get into a college.
More information will be added later.

Congressman Buchanan is hosting
an Academy Day
on Saturday, October 2nd
from 10:00 - 12:00
at the SCF facility in Lakewood Ranch.
